Obama's Inauguration

I didn't write an inauguration post because frankly, I couldn't get the words I wanted to write to congeal on the text editor screen. However, imagine my surprise when I read a post by Farmgirl saying almost exactly what I was trying to say.

However, I do need to add a few words (yeah you knew I couldn't keep my mouth shut).

I don't like Obama. It's not a race thing. It's almost evenly split between a difference in ideology and my thought that he is a "do nothing the polls don't want me to do" type of politician. You know, the type that votes present at Senate votes because he hasn't been told explicitly by his handlers what vote to cast.

So while I don't like him, I hope he is a good enough manager and negotiator to fulfill his presidental oath. You know the one, "to preserve and protect the Constitution". I just hope someone slips him a copy of the Constitution so he can familiarize himself with what he is supposed to preserve and protect.
